Looks like I should vary my routes when driving across the country if I ever want to hit those guys in the middle. And seems like I'm doing a pretty good job avoiding Kentucky:

I like how Kentucky is floating all by itself. You freaked me out initially with all of the red. I thought the country was going crazy for a brief moment. That website should really use something like sage green or purple.
I know. It's a little too reminiscent of all the red state blue state crap. Purple would be way better.
oh, Kentucky is not as bad as one might assume. having lived in New Hampshire for nearly 11 years, i can tell you i was not psyched about moving to Kentucky in '98. However, as long as you keep to the cities (Lexington or Louisville), you're free of rednecks and may find yourself in a very diverse place.
